Stair renovation

The task was to remove existing carpet and trim package and replace with maple treads and Brazilian cherry

The tile made a nice transition to the staircase

The landing challenge was incorporating there left over hickory floor with Brazilian cherry stock for the border.

The cable  challenge was figuring out where to drill the holes ( at an angle) in the center support.  It took about 4 hours to make the drill press jig and 5 minutes to drill the holes.  Remember, all it takes is money,
